Meta has launched its Muse personal AI agent in Singapore, according to an announcement on the company’s website. The release follows Meta’s earlier global announcement of the service.
Muse connects to apps users already have, including Gmail, Google Calendar and Instagram, to help manage email, coordinate schedules and access saved content. In Singapore, Meta has partnered with local services spanning shopping, groceries, dining and travel. Early connector partners include Shopee, Grab, Singapore Airlines, Agoda, ShopBack, Klook, Trip.com and Lazada.
According to Meta, users can ask Muse to research products and compare prices on Shopee or Lazada, plan grocery shopping and dining through GrabMart and Grab Dine Out, explore travel options through Singapore Airlines, Agoda, Klook and Trip.com, or manage cashback and deals through ShopBack. Connector features will roll out progressively, with some experiences becoming available after launch.
Muse runs on what Meta calls Muse Secure VM, described as a dedicated computer in the cloud that stores data and credentials for connected services while keeping passwords and payment methods out of the agent’s view. Users control what Muse can access, and the system asks for confirmation before sensitive actions such as sending email or making purchases.
“Muse is your personal agent, built to help make everyday life easier,” said Nicole Tan, Managing Director at Meta Singapore. “We are connecting Muse with some of the most iconic brands in Singapore and the region, so you can get things done with the services you already use and love.”
Muse is available in Singapore on iOS, Android and at muse.ai. Meta says the service will come to AI glasses in the future. The basic service is free, with subscription plans available for users who want additional capabilities.
