TechCrunch Disrupt 2026 to Feature Sessions on AI Investment and GTM Engineering

Blackstone's Jas Khaira and Clay's Kareem Amin headline sessions on AI company financing and the emerging GTM engineer role.

TechCrunch Disrupt 2026 will feature two sessions examining how AI is reshaping business, according to announcements on techcrunch.com.

Jas Khaira, global head of Blackstone N1, will appear on the Builders Stage for a session titled “Building the Next Generation of AI Giants.” According to techcrunch.com, Khaira will discuss what Blackstone looks for when backing category-defining companies, how founders should approach capital decisions while scaling, and what distinguishes lasting businesses from early traction. The announcement notes that “AI startups can grow at a speed that would have been difficult to imagine a generation ago,” but emphasizes that “scaling AI can require enormous amounts of capital.”

Separately, Clay co-founder and CEO Kareem Amin will take the AI Stage for “The GTM Engineer: How AI Created Tech’s Next Big Job Category.” According to techcrunch.com, the session will trace how AI has transformed the traditional go-to-market stack and created a new discipline. The announcement states that “two years ago, most companies didn’t have a GTM engineer,” but now “the role is showing up across tech, with practitioners using AI and automation to build revenue systems that once required multiple people, tools, and manual processes.”

Both sessions are scheduled for TechCrunch Disrupt 2026, though specific dates were not provided in the announcements.
